See for Change is s benefit to raise money and resources for youth (ages 4 – 13) in the 5 boroughs and abroad. ALL PROCEEDS are going to the organization New Eyes for the Needy. This organization is better known for sending resources abroad but also helps visually-impaired people locally so that they too can live active and productive lives.

Kiehl’s Acai Toning Mist for Earth Day 2010

In honour of Earth Day 2010 cosmetics brand Kiehl’s have teamed up with personalities from the worlds of art, music, film and sport to create a limited edition series of their Acai Damage-Protecting Toning Mist that will raise money for environmental causes.

Kiehl’s have invited Jeff Koons, Pharrell Williams, Julianne Moore and pro-surfer Malia Jones to each create special packaging for their 100% organic, antioxidant, skin rejuvenating spray.   An honourable 100% of profits is being donated from each sale to the Rainforest Alliance, with the aim of raising $200,000.

Apple iPad Launch

The iPad is the first tablet computer developed by Apple Inc. Announced on January 27, 2010, it is part of a device category between a smartphone and a laptop computer. Similar in functionality to a larger and more powerful iPhone or iPod touch, it runs a modified version of the same operating system (iPhone OS). Its included applications have also been redesigned to take advantage of the larger screen with added functionality similar to their Mac OSX counterparts.

It starts at $499 for 16GB, 32GB for $599, and $699 64GB. Adding 3G costs a $130 per model, so the most expensive model (64GB / 3G) is $829. The WiFi-only model will ship in 60 days, and the 3G models will come in 90 days.
