Cahuenga Corridor Grand Opening Slated for May 6th

The Cahuenga Corridor Street Market, created for artists by artists.

Los Angeles, California – Director Eddie Donaldson – The Marketing Division Worldwide LLC and the EACA Alley Association is excited to bring Hollywood an independent outdoor street market created for artists by artists. The Cahuenga corridor street market will take place every Sunday in Hollywood’s newest addition, the EACA alley from 10am to 7pm starting Sunday May 6th 2012. The street market’s goal is to create a commerce environment for like-minded artisans.

This will be a great opportunity for business owners to be proactive in attracting while supporting the surrounding community. The market will occupy the space in the alley from the north end by Ecco Ultra Lounge all the way down to the south end EACA Alley entrance by St Felix.  Over 1,000 people will be expected to attend on top of the 1,500 to 2,000 people that the existing Farmer’s Market attracts every Sunday. Vendors will be setup in creative stalls, parking lots and pop up shops in surrounding locations.

The Marketing Division is a lifestyle marketing and brand development company keenly in tune with the culture of today’s key influencers. In working with a staff of young brand advocates, they effectively create awareness to help build brands and set the foundation for companies to meet their long-term marketing goals.

A new generation of pop culture has brought street art great popularity and created a culture all of its own. All walks of life are beginning to enjoy this new culture and see this type of art in a new light as it becomes more mainstream every day. This will be Hollywood’s premier art destination filled with new upcoming and world known artists.

Snoop Dogg & KRS One Impromptu ‘South Bronx’ Performance




Check out Snoop Dogg‘s and KRS-One‘s impromptu version of South Bronx at the HVW8 Art & Design Gallery produced video shoot for “Wonder What It Do.” Classic stuff! Over the past 15 years, HVW8 has fostered a creative vision that brings unique collaborations between art, music and design.

One of the early pioneers of the live art movement of the late 90’s, the HVW8 Art Installation (Tyler Gibney, Gene Pendon, Dan Buller) painted live pieces of iconic figures from the worlds of art, music and politics to accompanying live musical performances from artists such as Afrika Bambaataa and Gilles Peterson. This body of work led to exhibitions at galleries worldwide such as the Parco Gallery in Tokyo, the Museum of Canadian Contemporary Art (MOCCA) in Toronto, and the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico.
